Conventional Aubergine
A long or round fruit with a smooth, shiny skin of different colours: white, black, yellow or red, although violet or purple is the most common. Depending on the variety, the pulp inside is white or green with soft seeds.
It has three very beneficial properties for the health: it is a pure antioxidant, it is a diuretic and it is purifying thanks to its high fibre content, which stimulates good liver function.
